Terra became a scholar her sophomore year in college and was named the Leader of Leaders upon completing the program.

Terra’s very first organization, and first true love. She set out to join a recycling club and when there wasn’t one, she created it. No one showed up to the first meeting she held and a year later, it was packed with 150 members. Her passion for recycling and the planet runs deep.

The school created a job for Terra to further the student movement of sustainability and develop ASU’s recycling program. She was featured on NBC and helped the university create a short documentary.

As a Pat Tillman Leadership Through Action Scholar, Terra co-founded a basketball camp for underprivileged children to learn life skills through a one day basketball camp. Later in college, she created a non profit organization out of it, recruited some rad NBA players for the board and began planning internationally. She quickly merged with Full Court Peace and the mission lives on today.

Right out of college, Terra started a vegan, vegetarian and raw food catering company. She checked books out from the library and started reading up on how to do it. Bored, she just put up a Craigslist ad and got her first client, then incorporated and took care of all the other “business” stuff. After 6 months, she grew tired of the catering world and decided it wasn’t her time to build the business. Shortly after, she moved to NYC to pursue a dream of working in education.

Terra became the Interim Executive Director of Sustainable Arizona in 2014 and enjoyed leading the organization for 16 months while transitions were made to large partnerships to better the planet.

When founding Body Brilliance, Brilliance Balm became the first hit. Brilliance Balm was a build-it-yourself lip balm line where you could select all your preferences, scents and create your own label. Turns out, hand pouring lip balm is an excessive amount of work, so the line no longer exists. Don’t worry though, many cool things are coming down the pipeline.
