Stop Forcing It to Feel Right

By April 3, 2017 August 15th, 2017 No Comments
Something feels a little bit off, doesn’t it?
It feels heavy, sluggish, out of alignment and things just aren’t flowing like they usually do.
You’re not sure which way is the right way and you don’t want to make the wrong call.
The tasks, OH the tasks, are weighing you down, pulling you under, making you feel like there is NO LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL.
So?
Stop forcing it.
Stop trying to make something work that doesn’t.
Stop striving for perfection in something you don’t even really want to be doing or engaging in.
Let go.
Surrender to what really wants to happen.
Sometimes letting go of something – a project, a relationship, a job opportunity, a business that seems like it should be amazing but just isn’t for you is simply a matter of getting a different perspective on it. It’s a matter of looking at it from another angle. Maybe it’s the right industry but what you’re doing is not best for you. Maybe it’s the right person, but the way you approach each other is harsh and unfair.
Or?
Maybe?
It’s time to let go completely.
Walk out of the tunnel, stop digging in the damn thing and go get on the train – where flow will take you to the destination you’re currently desiring.
The first step?
Change your physical state.
Take 3 long deep breaths making the exhale longer than the inhale.
Say in your mind, “I now fully let go of this situation and allow the best next step to become clear.”
Stand with your bare feet on the earth and your face in the sunshine for 20 minutes today and just be there. No technology. No conversation. Just YOU and existence.
Listen. Listen to the guidance that comes through for you.
Then?
Act on it.
But always first…
Take a pause. It is in the pause that we are able to shift gears instead of grind them.
